박보마는 세계가 존재하지 않는다는 느낌을 빛의 은유와 다양한 감각에 비추어 보는 일을 한다. 이를 위해 분위기(인상, 기분, 순간, 느낌 등)의 물질성, 힘 그리고 그의 반복(복제)을 탐구하며 다양한 매체와 증식적인 아이덴티티를 경유하여 외부적 사건으로 재현, 발화하기를 모색한다. Maatter에서 조향사로 일한다. 최근 가상의 회사 «Sophie Etulips Xylang Co.,»(2021)의 웹사이트(s-e-x-co.com), «Mercy, Boma Pak: Paintings and Matters 19xx2022»(YPC SPACE, 2022) 그리고 «물질의 의식(리움에서)»(리움 미술관, 2023),  «Baby»(PS 사루비아, 2023)을 개인전시로 선보였다. «The Edge of Belongings»(Hessel Museum, 뉴욕, 2025), «MMCA 다원예술: 쇼케이스»(MMCA/ 아트 허브 코펜하겐, 2024/ 2025), «즐겁게! 기쁘게!»(아트선재센터, 2023), «Girls in Quarantine»(2020), «Defense: ...»(d/p, 2020), «Shame on You»(두산갤러리 뉴욕, 2017), «실키 네이비 스킨»(인사미술공간, 2016)등 다수의 그룹전에 참여했다. boma pak examines the sensation of the world's non-existence by reflecting it through the metaphor of light and various senses.To this end, she investigates the materiality and power of 'ambience'—encompassing impressions, moods, moments, and feelings—and its repetition or reproduction. Through diverse media and proliferating identities (invented personas), she seeks to represent and externalize these elements as events. she also works as a perfumer at Maatter. Her recent solo exhibitions include the launch of the website for the imaginary company Sophie Etulips Xylang Co., (2021, s-e-x-co.com), Mercy, Boma Pak: Paintings and Matters 19xx2022 (YPC SPACE, 2022), Ritual of Matter (at Leeum) (Leeum Museum of Art, 2023), and Baby (Project Space Sarubia, 2023). She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including The Edge of Belongings (Hessel Museum, New York, 2025), MMCA Performing Arts: Showcase (MMCA / Art Hub Copenhagen, 2024/2025), Living in Joy! (Art Sonjae Center, 2023), Girls in Quarantine (2020), Defense: ... (d/p, 2020), Shame on You (DOOSAN Gallery New York, 2017), and Silky Navy Skin (Insa Art Space, 2016).

boma explores a synesthetic language, contemplating how to give concrete, temporary form to existences that are easily overlooked or consumed outside of social systems. Given the unique qualities of scent among various media, she has been operating Maatter since 2023, where she composes and provides fragrances.

pak works across various media and identities to create "fake" and to preserve disappearing moments.
